The Blackcountry Man

The arrival of Mary and Joseph....

And it came to pass that Herod and his New Ministers (that would be Cameron and the Coalition) decided to tax everyone and remove any benefit that the poor were receiving.
So to ensure that they Fleeced, Treated everyone the fairly, a census (Means Test) would be taken.
To take part in the census everyone had to register in the Town where they were born, and so it came that Mary (Mrs BM) and Joseph (all other parts played by Mr BM) journeyed to a far off Land called Brierley Hill Galilee, but there was a problem, due to all the housing benefit being clawed back by Herod, so many people were thrown streets that there was no Bed and Breakfast to be had anywhere.
A kindly Old Inn Keeper said that Mary could bunk down in the Stable (I know, I know it the Summer house again), shortly after Mary went into Labour, Joseph went into a little flap and was rushing round looking for Hot water and towels, (why? I never used them on my two).
The animals in the Stable were very calm, the cows were mooing, the lambs a bleating and the duck a quaking all to make soothing, if not a smelly atmosphere, and then a Star appeared in the sky and shone down on the Stable.

Now all it would take to make my day was some Ruddy Shepherds to see that Star and bring more sheep here, best not tell Mrs BM about this me thinks, not after last year.
