Lightening mood

Almost, but not quite got into the festive spirit today. Last trip to the supermarket accomplished and some sort of monster piece of poultry fetched (not by me) from the butchers. Home made sausage rolls have been prepared for lunch. And the Arrow is coming out of the speakers.

Have just come back from a swim and this is the swimming pool you can see here. A good set of lengths and ten minutes in the municipal sauna is calculated to cheer me up. And indeed it has achieved just that.

We went to our first blip meet last night. Very sociable it was too, even though the venue was somewhere I visit about twice a day when i'm at work. Met too many blippers to enumerate but it wasx, great to put faces to journals and journal names and to understand the varied motivations for joining blip, not to mention its life changing consequences for some people.
