Christmas Ents

To the Sample Room for Andrew Mill's Christmas knees up. First up, the excellent Jugalbandi. It has been remarked upon that they are perhaps not ideally suited to a pub gig as they are a bit esoteric n'that, but this set was excellent - a bit more muscular than I expected. Aye. The main act was the great Sandy Brechin and his band. I tell you, when that national institution Phil Cunningham is retired from the BBC, Sandy is a shoe-in. And in the middle, blip's own Donald Ker seen here enthralling us with his new Christmas poem which featured a pigeon which fell in love with a lawnmower. As they do!
