Blizzard!

Here in Connecticut, we are still dealing with a blizzard. The blizzard warnings continue throughout this afternoon....40 m.p.h. sustained winds, gusts up to 60 m.p.h. It's still snowing, although that is supposed to stop pretty soon.

It's hard to tell how much snow we really have as of now, the wind is blowing it all over. In my yard you can see spots where the grass is poking through, and then in other spots, it's a few feet deep! We live in an open area, in a little valley, so the wind is probably stronger here than in other spots.

This cardinal was clinging on to the pine branch with all it's might...I tried to wait for a lull in the wind to take this, but it's still a bit blurry. You can see the snow blowing by, to get a feel of the wind.

The house looks like a toy factory that exploded....toys everywhere, but that's okay. Jack is having fun, housework can wait!!
