Take Up Thy Bed and Walk
Rona, like most dogs, is a creature of routine. After her supper every evening, she hoicks out the bottom pad from her bed and parades around the sitting room like a miniature show pony. Occasionally, for a special treat, she also brings through her "blanky" with the doggy paw prints on.
I should add that this is not unusual behaviour: her little paw-pal, Robbie, in New Zealand goes through pretty well the exact same routine at about the same time although he often adds the "shake the rat until it is dead" act for dramatic effect.
