Fishing

We were up reasonably early, OK, 7am, to see Jaq and Phil go. The kids as usual, were dead keen to go fishing, imagine a broken record ... "can we go fishing now?". So we did.

Headed out in the tinny, first to green rock and then to Wellington Head. No a lot of luck at either, but then we chased a school of kawhai for 45 mins. Fantastic fun. Adam caught 2 huge ones, I caught one and a trevally, as well as a small kingie earlier which we realised (on Hannah's tiny pink rod).

All up a fantastic trip. The back for lunch, some tidying (as there are more people arriving tomorrow), then the kids and I headed to Fitzroy to fill dive tanks, petrol tanks, and get ice creams.

Another active and fun day - lots of sun (despite weather warnings!)
