Sgwarnog: In the Field

Ice Paddling

I'm not sure if we have invented a new extreme sport, but ice paddling was the recreational highlight of 3yo's and 6yo's day.

The temperature has dipped below freezing again, and there was new ice in the buckets, and in the puddles on the moor.

It hasn't felt like a Sunday. We still have one more day of holiday before I head back to work, and the little ones are back to nursery and school.  Which means this pleasant interlude of moorland based blips is almost at an end, and I'll be back in the urban environment before too long.

ice brittle like glass ~ stamped on by four little boots ~ had a smashing time
