Day eight: Agra and the Taj Mahal

The chaos continues, but so what with the loveliness of Taj Mahal. And not forgetting the Fort at Agra, or the "Baby Taj" just up the river. Agra is a surprisingly splendid town.

And did you know that the minarets at the Taj Mahal point outwards a little so that, in case of earthquakes, they wouldn't harm the perfection of the dome?

Grubby, grubbing and venal as a town. And lovely too.
