To the west

This is about as far as I can go to the west of our island. There is a little bit left but I couldn't be bothered to cycle to the bottom of the hill, to just turn around and come back up again.

The big island is Hoy. The one in the foreground is Hunda it's connected to Burray by the 5th Churchill barrier. And if you look carefully over to the left you will see the flame of the oil terminal on Flotta. The big blue bit of water surrounding it all is Scapa Flow.

The passing sign is one I often visit. It's a handy place to lean the bike.

BTW it was COLD.
