Lunch

Again a lovely day - how amazing is this summer weather. The main even for the day was Rob and Helena flying out to the island today with supplies (wine mostly) and then joining us at the bay.

We started the day water skiing. The kids first. Adam showed them how and did a great job, then Oliver who turned out to be a natural. On his second attempt he got up and then proceeded to try and do jumps! Then the adults turn. Lots of single skiing success.

Then out of one wetsuit and into another and out for a scallop dive. Michael, Sue and I dived and with 2 boatmen we picked up the limit of 100. Yum! With air left we then swum into the rocks and started hunting for crayfish. Lots of them, but very small. I caught one but clearly I had underwater vision impairment, on the surface it was clear the baby had to go back. Never mind!

Lunch on the deck again (of course) overlooking the beautiful bay. And then several jobs.

More fibreglassing, and then the big event of the day, the erection of the "For Sale" sign.

A sad day really, the bay is now too much hard work for Jim and Sue, at 73 Jim has done well to last this long but the physical demands (and costs) are becoming too great.

Mission accomplished we had to crack a bottle of bubbly to celebrate, or commiserate, not sure which one.

Despite that, another perfect day in paradise.
