From the North

Shell

This shell of a duck mussel, exactly belonging to the yield of last summer, is from a little swampy lake on which shores we spend time every summer in a little comfy hut. I've used to go and scope out the area around that lake in the hope of finding something fascinating and for many years have the clamshells been on the top of my list. I have a little collection of different shells from around the world but I don't have a big one which from you can hear the voice of sea. One day I'll have it, I promise.
