Making space for Carnaval 2011

One for the record really as we were walking through the streets of Copacabana today, these workmen were taking down the Reveillon (new year) signs, no doubt to be very soon replaced by Carnaval signs. I don't know how they have the energy to keep going to be honest as they're hardly over Christmas and New Year when it's time for the biggest party of all! And the Cariocas definitely know how to party! As I said on my previous blip, it would be great to stroll through the streets with our big cameras but we have to be mindful of security risks.
