The Black Bun

1. A three egg omelette, with ham and mushroom. Throw in a sausage, some bread and some coffee and you have yourself a stonking Sunday breakfast.

2. Shopping in East Kilbride doesn't sound like it should be fun. It isn't but somehow you get through it.

3. I haven't been in an actual bookshop in ages. Normally I get reader's block and can't remember what books to buy. Today I walk into a shop and they have three for two on all Graham Greene books. A sign...?

4. The 'Black Bun'. I thought it was a made up thing from the Broons that might have been black pudding or Christmas cake. Turns out it is a real thing that you can buy in actual supermarkets. Every day's a school day.

5. First-footing round at Lord Gaga's house. The Flying Amaretto Brothers (pictured) were on very good form tonight. A quiet Sunday night turned into a six bottle extravaganza. Drunkety drunk drunk drunk.
