Prisoner of nature

I'm sure there are many people in Queensland, Australia who feel like prisoners of nature.

So much water, three-quarters of the state a disaster zone; a land mass greater than France and Germany combined.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

A good day for me. I'm settling back into work and getting some things done. I returned home to an unhappy Fur Child though. A sharp and shallow quake rattled through mid-morning. It wasn't far from home and I know how unpleasant they are. (In the big building I work in I didn't feel it, but others around me did). Poor little guy, for the first time he's taken himself under the stairs and spent a little time just crouching. Now he's upstairs asleep on my bed.
