Car safely home

Had intended to take a photo of where I'd left my car yesterday complete with dramatic rescue from the ice, but when I went back there today I was so relieved I could drive out I forgot to take a picture. So here's a really dull one of the car back on the drive.

In total 5 cars had been abandoned near where I'd left mine. Yesterday I phoned the council and asked if they could sent a gritting lorry over this minor road which is unclassified and not on their gritting schedules - didn't hold out much hope but to my amazement they had gritted the route this morning followng my request. It's still quite icy at the top so I won't be chancing it again for a few days.
