Young Driver Safety

Attended a focus group on Young Driver Safety this evening.

Everyone was 25 or under although I was the oldest there! Was very interesting going through ideas on how to improve road safety especially in younger drivers.

What we all agreed that all drivers needed more training than just learning to pass a test. For young drivers it would help if this also reduced insurance prices.

We all also agreed that young drivers are often tarred with same brush and assumed to be complete nutters!

The organiser seemed to get a lot out of us all. Whether or not the Scottish Government agrees or not is a different matter.

The £20 we all received in return certainly didn't hurt either :-)
