Are these the first buds of spring (winter)

Hamamelis - Witch Hazel
Tiny tiny buds but definite signs of the lovely red flowers to come - probably next month. I have a yellow flowering one too both of which we bought about 2 years ago at RHS Harlow Carr.

This was more successful than yesterday's attempt in terms of focus but as I ended up unintentionally sitting on my bottom in the wet grass the success is rather qualified!
