Captain's Logbook

Busy day driving around London. Lots to see and there would have been lots to photograph given more time. The skies were pretty dull which was a shame.

There sems to be lots of interesting things to see around East London where the Olympic village is being built. Also lots of canals.

They will all have to wait for a good sky day.

This photo was taken from Ferme Park Road, to the South of Alexandra Palace. First built in 1873 as a public centre of recreation, education and entertainment and as North London's counterpart to the Crystal Palace in South London. It was destroyed by fire and the present building was constructed 1875.
