Censorship Offends Me

Another weekend and another protest in Vancouver. Today's was outside the library and it was in aid of Wikileaks. I wasn't there for the protest, I was there to put some books back, but I caught the beginning of it.

The protesters weren't just in support of Wikileaks, but openness and free speech on the internet in general. They were very much in favour of downloading mp3's.

Some of what they were saying made sense. Some of it not so. And some of their arguments seemed very under prepared.

I'm sitting on the fence when it comes to Wikileaks.
