I'm A Very Friendly Lion Called Parsley

After eating way too much at V+K's last night (the most amazing dahl, wonderful paneer and all in enormous quantities - thank you very much to both of them), today was a day of trying to walk some of that off.

It was a great day to be out - lovely clean air and lots of space to walk in. I throughly enjoyed trochling through the clabber*.

Today's photograph is taken at the place where there's a fabulous view over the city (like this) and this chap stands at the leftmost edge of that view. There is another lion at the other end (it's a bit snarly looking) and I'll Blip it another day.

All in all, a grand day out.

* Effectively means walking through mud and is a phrase I associate with the Scottish folk singer/conservationist/broadcaster Jimmie MacGregor. For me, it sums up the effort and futility of such an endeavour rather well.
