Day of the Triffids

Last year there was a massive fire in this building and I was reading Day of the Triffids at the time. Even though mobile plants that lash out and sting their victims don't resemble old factories per se, the charred top of the building has reminded me of the book ever since as I walk past every day.

Good book by the way, highly recommended if you like the apocalyptic, end-of-the-world type of thing.

Need some tips from bananablip about this photography lark. How would I frame this one better? Just found the range of modes on my camera....sundown mode?
