Practice makes perfect.

A day out at one of the disused slate quarries.

It has been blipped by me and at least 2 other blippers in the last year.

We were diong some staff training today.

Phil and I were running a workshop on our stretcher lower project.
A simulated mountain rescue.

Simon is guiding the stretcher down the 140ft (45m) cliff face of Cathederal Quarry, Little Langdale. Also known as Black Hole Quarry.

Sam is in the stretcher. He's the Director's son, so I thought we'd better look after him!
;~))

There are three ropes, controlled from the top for lowering the stretcher down.
