This part of the cookbook is quite interesting as WW2 rationing was still in place in Britain, and having lamb would be very very special indeed and expensive.

I love how someone has hand-painted on top of the Black and White photography.

I do like cooking with lamb and New Zealand is good but as a Scot feel that Scottish is the best !!
