Sunburst

Today's long walk took me via the harbours of Vlaardingen and all along the Maasboulevard which is where this photo was taken around an hour prior to sunset. I love the rays bursting from behind the clouds. I love cloudscapes in general. I could've sat there on that bench for hours gazing at the sky and listening to the waves crashing in, if it wasn't for the bitterly cold wind.

I'm glad I ventured out for my first proper walk today since this annoying head cold took hold, but it certainly took it out of me. Absolutely exhausted and on the verge of a migraine when I eventually made it home but still worth it.
