Boring Day

Today was very boring. It was so quiet I even made some easter biscuits just because I like eating them but I forgot to take a picture of them.

This is gnocchi with white truffle oil, char grilled courgette, tomato sauce made from these tomatoes, basil pesto, parmesan crisp and dressed lamb's lettuce.
This dish is a vegetarian option in a special lunch deal I have going. 2 courses for £8.95.

I can't wait for summer when I get all my homegrown and fresh wild produce in the kitchen again. The first thing I'll be looking out for in the spring is wild garlic which grows abundantly in the wild around here. That is always the start of the season for me!
