Long Time Gone

Preparing for a walk along Leven beach. I will drive to Lower Largo beach to meet the intrepid explorers, and drive them home.

In the background is Methil power station which is also in the background of Jack Vettriano's painting Long Time Gone. I don't think, however, that our photographs have the same commercial value as his work.

The power station will not be there much longer - it is already being dismantled. A little further away is the new windmill. Will this technology provide the economic boost which the Levenmouth area so badly needs?
