Photosoc and light painting

So after being at university for a term and blipping for most of that time I have finally joined the photography society. A little on the slow side don't you think?

The first social was a walkabout, it was really good fun to have a mass of people all with SLRs out. Something I also found a little funny, cool and geeky at the same time (mutually exclusive, I think not).

We had a little bit of a go at light painting, it was my first time, and I seriously recommend it to everyone! So simple, a torch and long exposure but yet so fun.

To my shock, amazement and wonder I also met another blipper! I didn't know if they really existed outside, in the wild.
