Zombie Rover

It's eye is falling out of it's socket, the insides are starting to leak..(may be more now) and in this picture you see it being rescued from being rolled onto its drivers side (left side here in the states) because of sliding on slush/black ice going just under the speed limit down a hill around a corner. Thing is.. not but 20 mins ago, i navigated this SAME corner getting my mom a coffee and bagel and brought it back to her.

I've also for several weeks now been having premonitions if you will, of doing exactly this, rolling over in my Rover. Their electrical systems may suck, but everything else runs and holds really strong. all 3 of us walked away from this roll-over. 3? Myself (I was driving), Pheenyx, and our 2yo son who was buckled securely into the child's safety seat in the back.

Will i own another LandRover? perhaps, will i talk someone out of buying one ? absolutely not! i think had i been driving something else, there'd have been more damage, and i'm thinking i'd have been stuck and not able to so easily exit the truck.

Proof, that while yes, 4x4 vehicles handle better in the snow, they're not super-vehicles, in that they still succumb to sloshy, icy conditions.
