Jenny Brown's Sunset

Apologies for blipping two sunsets in successive days, but I couldn't resist this. Besides, not to blip it would be a bit of a slight to my friend Dr T who patiently waited getting steadily colder while I took more, and more, and more photos of this as the colour of the sky deepened.

This is at Jenny Brown's Point, Silverdale, a place that has featured several times before in this journal. The high tides have left the mudflats saturated with water which together with standing pools, helps to reflect the colours of the sunset sky.

Still no additional birds for the 2011, though we did have a nuthatch in the garden today.
