Parking Garage

The sun was out for a bit today, I was downtown and noticed this almost empty garage with great streaks of light on the floor. The floor itself, because I walked in to look out and shoot the windows in the far back, is soft, as though the boards were laid right over the ground. I wonder. The building is in a quite old section of this still fairly young city, and if there were anything beneath in terms of open space - well the weight of vehicles is not a comforting thought.
