One in, one out

A perfect illustration of why we had the conservatory built. It was not to give us an extra room; it was not a place for the coats & boots; it was not as a place to put the Christmas tree. It has been all of these things - but above all it was to allow Jess & Molly to have the kitchen door open.

Before we had the conservatory, Jess in particular wanted to have the door open in all weathers. Her ideal spot was lying inside the house, with her nose outside. If Molly was in, she wanted to be out - and vice-versa.

Here we see a very peaceful scene. Each has a place of her own and can settle in contentment. Jess has the door open, and Molly has the feeling of being in-and-out at the same time.

The peace may not last, but its lovely to have it just for the moment.

Next week's 2011 challenge is 'Tired'. I would guess that anyone who blips one or more dogs will have no difficulty coming up with something for this task.
