Grade A gray day

Have just been for a walk in the fields behind the village. Countryside walks are over-rated, unless you like mud. I don't. I prefer the kind of trundle that allows you to pause in the middle for an ice cream or a beer, a haggle at a flea market or a browse in a bookshop. Or better still, one that has a nice long boozy lunch beckoning at the end of it, followed by a nap for dessert.
