The Nut and The Ivy

Both holding on, the nut through the simple, clever idea of having a threaded hole screwed onto an identically threaded bolt and the ivy, by tiny clinging roots.

I had a good reason today for making this monochrome. Simply, the ivy had such lovely crimson stalks it looked unreal and clashed with the colour of the algae!

Meanwhile, I am waiting to get a passable shot of a group of lovely long-tailed tits that visit our nuts. So next weekend it may be The Nuts and The Nice Little Birds blip!
