Grrrrr

Up and away really sharp today as we decided yesterday to have a trip to the little fishing villages on the East Neuk of Fife. Through St Andrews and headed towards St Monans where there is a preserved windmill. The sky was gorgeous with parallel lines of blue and white and we walked along the coast path, avoiding the mud - Breagha didn't - so she was put in for a swim in the North Sea!

On the way back to the car, perched on a wall, back arched and growling, was this absolutely beautiful cat. She had spied Breagha, but Breagha had only smelt her, typical spaniel, nose to the ground, so was sniffing all round the wall, but didn't look up. This is one of a series of photos I took of the cat. I think it is a Bengal, but maybe someone will disagree. My old neighbour had a Bengal, and I think it was similar to his one.

We then headed to Pittenweem, a mile along the road, and watched as a fishing boat unloaded a catch in the harbour. We then drove another mile to Anstruther to have a fish and chip tea in the Anstruther Fish and Chip Shop which has been voted best chippie in the UK on 4 occasions! It was simply delicious! And we got there before the queues got too big. We have been there in the past with the queue snaking half way down the main street.

This is the picture I almost picked, see if you think I made the best choice 2nd choice
