Save some for me...please.

This doe was longingly looking on as I scattered some peanuts for the birds. I left before the birds grabbed every last piece so she could move in to get her share.

Even with hand warmers in my pockets today, my fingers were painfully cold...and no wonder. When I got back home and checked the temperature, it read 11 degrees Fahrenheit. Right now, it has slithered down the scale to 8 degrees. January isn't setting any heat records in Ohio.
