The Gift

I bought this necklace for Jane's 40th birthday present. She did not want a fussy birthday, no party or anything like that so we decided to go on holiday instead.

We went to Wiltshire to visit the archaeology. Stonehenge just a small part of it; there is an entire landscape there!

So, we found a restaurant for the birthday meal, got dolled up (which is no mean feat for me) and...I discovered I'd left the present at home, hidden away where Jane would not find it too early, hundreds of miles away!
