Zhao Lin Park

A couple of friends are visiting from Beijing so I took them to the Ice Park near our place. It was amazing.. Hundreds of sculptures and countless hours of preparation to put together a magical 90 minutes freezing walk. I think it was about -20 out there but it was worth it.

It is just a shame that I can't seem to work out how to show the wonderful detail in the ice. Not on this big one. It was made with skill and brute force but on some of the small ones.. The artists are that. ARTISTS.

This is a stage are where they put on performances almost every night. We can hear them at our place 2 blocks away. It is made entirely of ice.
