History lesson

I arrived at my course a bit early so popped out to take this pic which I'd seen on the drive in. I'd presumed it was something to do with the police years ago but one of the other trainees on the course caught me taking the pic. Apparently it used to be the location of a girls school from the 1700's until it was recently turned into offices and apartments. The web mentions a hospital and boys school too but not in the same location. I'm glad it wasn't demolished.
