Early Childhood Day at the NM State Capitol

I spent the entire day an most of the evening in Santa Fe for Early Childhood Day. We brought Big Bird and Elmo and set up a booth with banners and a TV playing Sesame Street and the Electric Company episodes. There was a rally outside the "Round House" in the middle of the day. Everyone had yellow umbrellas. It began to snow, so I was glad to have an umbrella. It was quite a sight. As soon as the rally ended so did the snow!

A policy forum took up most of the evening. It was an exhausting day, but i took lots of pictures. It was hard to pick one, but this little Native American girl had such a terrific expression and a pretty face, that I decided on her.
