Starling

This was going to be a fine shot of the starling, with his iridescent throat and newly speckled breast gleaming in the early morning sunshine. However, in the instant between my pressing the shutter button and the shutter actually opening he turned tail! Perhaps he was proud of his brand new tail feathers.
