It Came From Outer Space

Proof, as if proof were needed, that Space Invaders was not just a video game of the late 1970s. This detail on the end of a house here dates from 1889 and predates the game by nearly 90 years. What sort of cover up are we looking at here ? What really happened here a hundred and twenty odd years ago ? And why is there no official record of it ? Eh ? Eh?

I walk past this house quite regularly and wonder why I didn't see the detailing before. I suppose that's like walking anywhere, you just filter stuff out. Start looking at your surroundings in a Blip way and there's treasure absolutely everywhere.

Today's highlight was buying coathangers (or "Kleiderbügel") and finally hanging up/putting away all my clothes that have been lying around in the suitcase. i no longer live out of a box. That may be cause for a small celebration.
