Took advantage of the snow day today and made a trip to DMV to get Kailey her driving permit. One trip is never enough to DMV.

Not a wasted trip entirely. Red shouldered hawks were everywhere. Unfortunately, the day is dreary and overcast with more snow in the forecast so there is no light in the picture. This hawk appeared to be looking at me. How self-centered of me to think so. Not long after this shot was taken he flew down very close to me to snatch at something to eat. I was not fast enough with the camera to get a shot of that.
