Smoke

This is not fog or early morning dew. This is what we woke up to this morning. It's smoke from the controlled fire that went out of control yesterday. It was so bad, we did not leave our house to go to work until 10am this morning. You could barely see 20 feet in front of you.

One of the main highways going through this area (Interstate 4) was closed down for 14 miles in both directions. There were 70 cars involved in a pile up due to lack of visibility, 20 of those vehicles were tractor trailers - 2 of which exploded. They have had 4 deaths, 37 injured and 5 are critical and as of 5pm, they were still evacuating people from the roads. What a mess!!

What I want to know is where were the police who patrol this area at all hours of the morning and night and why didn't they close the damn highway down when they realized you couldn't see your hand in front of your face.

A very sad and devasting thing to happen.
