Singing

I grabbed this shot as I was out running yesterday. The weather was beautiful, the skies blue and the snow melting on the grass. There was, however, a real chill in the air. A biting wind was blowing and I only realized this when I stopped.

I felt a pang of sympathy for these kids. They were being directed in singing practice behind one of the local universities in the city. Why they chose to hold the session outdoors in January is beyond me! They were singing a song for ?? (Sulnal), the lunar new year which takes place next week.

It's one of the biggest festivals in the Korean calendar. Here's hoping they don't freeze to death between now and then.
