For Blips Sake

Ness Island Bridge

Although it was cold today it was dry. Perfect day for a long walk with a hot chocolate stop in the middle.

We walked from home down to the River Ness in town. The river was the highest I've ever seen it. The water was starting to come up the banks. No danger to us walking by but I couldn't help taking a lot of pictures. As you may find once the weather gets better I love talking pictures of rivers!

The bridge in this shot is one of Inverness' famous "wobbly" bridges. If two or more people are on it the whole structure starts to bounce up and down. Good fun if you're not of nervous disposition!

The man in the shot is our friend Pip (the one up from Edinburgh) although he looks quite lonely in this shot!

Now we're back home in the warm I think it's time for a cup of tea and an afternoon nap in preparation for the Superbowl tonight!
