Hanging man...

I'm constantly impressed by Bethany's aptitude for writing. She's been able to write her name for a good wee while now but tonight I was introduced to her game of hanging man that she's been playing with her mum.

She was helped to set up the blanks for the word but as I asked for the letters, she was able to add them to the blanks or to the bottom for wrong guesses whilst drawing the parts of gallows and what turned out to be more hanging spider than hanging man.

I would be lying if I said a wasn't a wee bit proud.
