Tayvalich reflections

After the torrential weather yesterday today was glorious, bright sunshine and springlike warmth. John had to work in Lochgilphead and I had a hairdresser appointment for the afternoon. So both of us drove in this morning,. On the way there the scenery was quite breathtaking , lovely mist on the water and at Lochgair it was truly magnificent but as luck would have it there was no time to stop.
After dropping John off I headed along the Crinan Canal , agin beautiful reflections , crystal clear but no stopping places. Headed off the canal road to my favourite of all the places in Argyll , Tayvallich , a must if you've never been there. Single track roads with passing places , but at his time of year only local drivers who know anf follow the etiquette of driving on roads like these so it was a real pleasure to drive.
As always Tayvallich was beautiful , got shots there then headed out to Keills where I climbed the hill above the church and was rewarded with amazing views across to Islay.
All this on a round trip there and back home in two hours ! WE are really fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of Scotland.

Difficult deciding which photo to upload but finally chose this one.
