Mill Chimney Moon

What promised to be a beautiful afternoon in Saltaire ended rather abruptly when 6yo gashed his head in the playground and subsequently had it glued up by Wharfedale A&E.

Before that event, we'd had a nice walk down through the village, and the waxing gibbous moon next to the Italianate chimney of New Mill (1868), part of the Salt's Mill complex, had caught my eye.

The chimney previously featured upside down in one of my most popular blips, Weird Mill.
