this reminds me of primary school and my best friend miriam hamburger and our matching blue cord dungarees with apple patches on the front and getting my first pair of straight trousers and singing along to a record of 'joseph and his amazing technicolour dreamcoat' and clothkits dressing up dresses and bead swopping and playing a game where you stand with your back against the wall and hit it with a tennis ball inside a pair of tights.

i am not sure how this small thing has stayed with me so long.
