Coexistence

We didn't find any owls this morning but we found many different kinds of ducks and Trumpeter Swans resting on the ice.

This species was almost close to extinction in eastern North America a few years back but a few determined people worked to save them and they are beginning to come back.

We almost killed them off, now they are living because of us. Ironic.
